Tech Tidbit

“The Kids Should See This”
Are you looking for videos to share with your children at home that are
geared toward STEAM and display meaningful media for kids? is a fantastic resource for parents (and teachers) that offers children collections of videos with a focus on STEAM - science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The available videos can help clear up a misconception about a topic, spark an interest, or simply serve as family-friendly media! The easy search feature allows you to look for a certain topic, or you can scroll

over the collections at the top of the website. There are so many cool videos to watch, share, and discuss!

Second Grade Fun!

Second graders had a blast during our Winter Kids activities! The smoothie bike was a hit, the kids actually pedaled the bike to mix their smoothie. Another activity they enjoyed was making birdseed cookies and hanging them outside for the winter birds to eat.
In the classroom for writing we just nished our unit on Opinion writing. Students brought home their writing to share with their families to see if they agree or disagree with their opinion. Now we are onto nonction animal reports. Students will learn how to research an animal of their choice and write a nonction book. Please keep an eye open for a notice about which month we will be sharing our animal report posters at All School.
